Guillermo (Memo), manager at Zone 1 Trucking School, a CDL holder since 2001, worked as a Reefer, Dry Van and Flatbed divisions for almost 10 years. In 2008 became a CDL instructor. Before starting Zone 1 Trucking as an Owner operator in 2018. We got the experience which we now share it to anyone at our school, getting their CDL’s and starting their own trucking business. Understanding the FMCSA and DOT requirements in obtaining their authorities to operate Interstate or intrastate. Most importantly, the experience that we personally got on the road, driving in the snow, chaining up tires, how to safely go downhill and recovery skills.

Meeting former students and understanding the need of well prepared drivers we started getting recommendations to their friends, cousins and uncles that we decided to help them get their CDL’s. Suddenly, we had a group that kept growing every week until we discovered that we had a mission to accomplish… Train new CDL Professional Drivers!

All of our personnel are CDL holders, with over 60 years of combined experience.
